Toto and Starbuck

Toto had been with us for a while now and Popeye got a home and has settled in very well. Poor Mattie seemed to want to sleep all the time and was getting fatter and fatter. When his face started to swell up, he was rushed to the vet and it turned out the poor little kitten has Heamophilia, a disease of the blood that prevents it from clotting. The Kitten was bleeding internally and so the kindest thing to do was to put him down. It was a very sad day. A few days later, another little kitten was found and came to join Toto. He was called Starbuck. Found on the road next to his dead brother, he was very traumatised and it was two days before he would let anyone handle him, but from then on he settled in so well and was a great companion for Toto. Then a lady called looking for two kittens and for these two little ones, it was a happy conclusion.
