On the day that Scampi found a new home, there had been a report that three puppies had been abandoned in a forestry. Fortunately, the workers at the forestry and put them in a shed and so they had shelter and a kind lady had been going up twice a day to feed them. So leaving Scampi’s new home, I headed straight for the forestry and meet the three puuppies. They were gorgeous. About five months old, a cross between a sheepdog and a terrier, it seemed, they were lively in spite of being quite thin and very friendly. So they were brought to their foster home where they meet all the other dogs including Escargot who was lonely for his brother. They have a field to run in and their very own shed and every evening they are brought into the house which they promptly wreck. They are called Andy, Rosebud and Daisy and will make wonderful pets for a lucky family. So if you are on the lookout for a perfect pet, call 086-8163707.

When the boot was opened, there were these two ten week old puppies sitting in a corner of the boot and looking terrified. We were taking them in so that we could find them a home. They were terrified after being taken away from their mother and landing up in a strange place, so the first thing to do was to make them feel at home. One of them was called Scampi which was a lovely name and there was no name on the other pup so logic stepped in a dictated that it had to be Escargot. With the help of all the other dogs, they settled in very quickly and made friends with Toto and Starbuck. Then this family called and wanted to meet Scampi. Needless to say, they fell in love with him straight away and so Scampi got himself a fabulous home where he is now King of the Castle. They changed his name to Buddy as their previous dog, who had died suddenly, was also called Scampi and they wanted to save his name. Poor Escargot was so lonely for a day after Scampi left but he soon settled in again and is now very happy running with all the other dogs. He is still looking for a home and hopefully will have one soon.
